The Ache of The Real: Cyberspace, Streets and Alternative Vision is now available as a PDF
This essay, written for the curators of Pantheon NYC, explores the history and the future of public space in New York City and beyond. Available in hard copy as part of the Pantheon NYC Exhibition Catalog I’m also making it available here, as a free download. Pantheon NYC highlighted 33 street artists from the 1970s through today. The catalog features those artist histories, in their own words and pictures, while local writers and photographers give an overview of the cultural milieu. In addition, this 426-page catalog includes a dedication to Rammellzee by Charlie Ahearn, interviews and essays; the Feral Diagram and more. Overall, the catalog roughly contains over 400 images, nearly 20 essays and 20 interviews from the efforts of over 30 individuals.

Upcoming…Living Liminal the Art of Rotate NYC
Soon to be published is Living Liminal, a collection of the poster art I did for Rotate NYC, which accounted for a small blip in the elctronic culture radar. Featuring my essay, Corn Plastic Dance Floor, and a foreword by Resident Advisor’s US Editor, Todd L. Burns, this book will offer a glimpse into the relationships and the inspirations of the techno subculture of NYC from the eyes of a former Indie Rocker and constant idealist.
